Cambodia's domestic tourism on a high over holiday weekend despite Covid-19 issues as govt confirms three new Omicron cases

PHNOM PENH, Jan 2 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): The provincial tourism departments across the country said over 1.1 million domestic tourists visited different resorts throughout Cambodia for the new year holiday.

The departments issued a statement that said that for the new year holiday this year a total of 1,145,141 tourists visited locations in Cambodia, with 1,139,387 domestic tourists and 5,754 international foreign visitors. The majority of them visited Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
