BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Brunei Darussalam’s economy is projected to grow by 3.5 per cent this year and five per cent next year, according to the United Nations (UN) World Economic Situation and Prospects (WESP) 2022, launched recently.
The report said East Asia’s economic performance largely rebounded in 2021. Headline gross domestic product (GDP) growth was an estimated 6.7 per cent following the sharp deceleration in 2020. The recovery is nascent, however.
