Brunei authorities seize tuna crackers with unauthorised use of Halal label

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Jan 30 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Enforcement officers of the Halal Food Control Division, Syariah Affairs Department conducted an operation in Gadong following public complaints of unauthorised use of Brunei Islamic Religious Council’s (MUIB) Halal label.

They found 10 boxes containing eight packs of tuna crackers and 131 prawn crackers with Halal label as well as three packs of labels with the MUIB Halal logo.
