VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network) Two people were rescued after they became trapped when a tunnel collapsed at the old Sepon mine in Namkhip village, Vilabouly district, Savannakhet province on Monday (Jan 31).

The incident occurred at about 8pm, when the Emergency Response Team at the Sepon Mine was informed of the emergency and sprang into action.
