Over 601kg dubious chicken wings without Halal import permits seized in Brunei

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Feb 7 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Some 601 kilogrammes of raw chicken wings without the Halal import permit were confiscated during a joint operation by enforcement officers from the Halal Food Control Division at the Syariah Affairs Department and the Royal Customs and Excise Department in Kampong Manggis.

The enforcement team found the raw chicken wings inside a car following a surveillance on a saloon car from Temburong to Brunei-Muara districts via Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge.
