HONG KONG (Bloomberg): Hong Kong’s health officials warned that the city is facing a "crisis” as a ballooning number of virus cases overwhelms hospitals and throws the city’s Covid Zero strategy into disarray.

Authorities are set to announce a record of more than 1,500 new cases Monday (Feb 14), local media reported, citing people they didn’t identify. It comes after 1,347 on Sunday. Cases have exceeded capacity at Hong Kong’s hospitals, health officials have said, adding they will now shift to prioritising care for the elderly and children who get Covid.
