THE Cobra Gold annual wargames led by Thailand and the United States has kicked off on a reduced scale, with the Thai Defence Ministry insisting that Myanmar’s exclusion was unrelated to its crisis following last year’s military coup.
This year’s exercises, which began on Sunday, are focused on humanitarian training drills.
