Vietnam on track for recovery, committed to improving business climate, says its Foreign Minister

BANGKOK, Feb 26 (The Straits Times/ANN): The Covid-19 pandemic may have wreaked havoc on global manufacturing but Vietnam's production, business and supply chains are well on track for recovery, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son has announced.

Vietnam is adopting "flexible solutions to adapt to the restructuring of the regional and global production network", he told The Straits Times in an e-mail interview on the eve of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc's three-day visit to Singapore starting on Thursday.
