Cambodia and China vow to prop up regional stability and prosperity, says kingdom's foreign ministry

PHNOM PENH, March 6 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): Phnom Penh and Beijing have renewed their pledge to further prop up bilateral and Asean-China cooperation in the interest of regional peace, stability and economic prosperity.

The pledge was made at a recent meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn and his Chinese counterpart’s special representative Yang Yanyi, where the latter reiterated China’s resolve to “further strengthen and broaden cooperation with Cambodia in all fields”, the foreign ministry noted in a press release issued later that day.
