Minor earthquake jolts Hong Kong

HONG KONG (China Daily/Asia News Network): An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 jolted Hong Kong in the early hours of Monday (March 14), according to an initial analysis from the Hong Kong Observatory.

The earthquake, occurring at 2.29am on Monday near the coast of Southeastern China, lasted for a few seconds. The epicentre of the earthquake was located about 92km east-northeast of Hong Kong, the HKO said in a bulletin posted on its website.
