Laos partners with Korea to strengthen workers’ IT skills

VIENTIANE (The Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): The Sharing Culture and Arts Association of the Republic of Korea is supporting the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare to set up an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre to train more people in IT skills.

An agreement on cooperation in the construction of the centre was signed in Vientiane on Monday by the Director General of the Lao-Korea Skills Development Institute under the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Dr Bounma Sitthisom, and a representative of the Sharing Culture and Arts Association, Dr Yoo Hyun Sook.
