Blue glow in waters will last for a few more days

Wonder in the water: The bright blue glow is emitted by a group of marine microorganisms called dinoflagellates. — The Straits Times/ANN

The bright blue waves are caused by a bloom of marine microorganisms called dinoflagellates, whose bioluminescence is activated when the waters are disturbed.
