'Drunk' driver collides with worker truck in Cambodia, injures 57

PHNOM PENH (The Phnom Penh Post/Asia News Network): A total of 57 workers were injured, eight seriously, in a collision between the truck on which they were commuting to work and another vehicle on March 24 in Tbeng Khpos commune of Kampong Chhnang province’s Samaki Meanchey district.

Local police said the truck carrying the 57 workers, 43 of them women, collided with the other vehicle that was travelling at speed without licence plates and reportedly in an erratic manner.
