Virus: HK 'at critical moment' to avoid rebound, logs 8,037 cases


HONG KONG (China Daily/Asia News Network): Hong Kong reported 8,037 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday (March 27) as a health official said the city was at a “critical moment’ to avoid a rebound in infections.

Albert Au Ka-wing, principal medical and health officer of the Centre for Health Protection’s communicable disease branch, said in a press briefing that the new cases included 8,035 local cases and two imported infections.
