Vietnam lecturer's invention to clean river banks wins Unesco prize

CAN THO (Vietnam News/Asia News Network): Lecturer Huỳnh Ngọc Thái Anh's invention, the recyclable trash collector, has won first prize in Unesco's "Innovative Ideas for a Plastic-Free Ocean" competition.

"About two years ago, I had the opportunity to participate in a community project on the environment as a consultant," he said.
