Vietnam PM expects Covid-19 special team ready to respond against new dangerous coronavirus strains

HANOI, April 11 (Vietnam News/ANN): Prime Minister Pham Minh Chính has urged the Health Ministry to devise new Covid-19 prevention and control scenarios to make Vietnam always ready in responding to the rapid development of the pandemic or the possible future appearance of more contagious and dangerous coronavirus strains.

Addressing the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control’s 14th teleconference with leaders of 63 provinces and cities, PM Chính, who is also head of the committee, stressed that vaccine continues to be a “strategic weapon” in the fight against Covid-19.
