Laos-China Railway to provide more services over Lao New Year from Wednesday (April 13) onwards


VIENTIANE, April 12 (Vientiane Times/ANN): The Laos-China Railway Company Limited will add a standard passenger train to services on the section of railway between Vientiane and Boten, in anticipation of increased passenger travel over Lao New Year.

The train will make its first trip on April 13. Coded K12/11, the 732-seat train will carry passengers between Vientiane and Boten at a top speed of 120km per hour.
