Nearly 280,000 travellers from Singapore cross land border to Malaysia on Friday and Saturday

SINGAPORE, May 1 (The Straits Times/ANN): Close to 280,000 travellers departed Singapore for Malaysia, crossing the land border on Friday (April 29) and Saturday.

The surge in traffic came ahead of Labour Day and Hari Raya Aidilfitri, which fall on May 1 and May 3 respectively.
