Over 1.6 million students enroll in basic education schools across Myanmar; Covid-19 total now rising to 613,260


YANGON, May 26 (Xinhua): More than 1.6 million students enrolled in basic education schools across the country on the first day of the national school enrollment week on Thursday, the state-run television channel MRTV reported.

Myanmar's Ministry of Education provided the students with school textbooks and stationery free of charge during the school enrollment.
