Again above 2,500 level as Philippines logs 2,578 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday

MANILA, July 16 (Xinhua): The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) reported 2,578 new Covid-19 infections on Saturday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country to 3,730,545.

The death toll remained unchanged at 60,641 as the ministry reported no new deaths from the pandemic on Saturday.
