Cambodia cops arrests 11 drug traffickers and seizes almost 45kg of illicit drugs

PHNOM PENH, July 19 (Xinhua): Cambodia's anti-drug police have arrested a gang of 11 people for allegedly possessing and trafficking illicit drugs, confiscating 44.8kg of illicit drugs, the Anti-Drug Police Department (ADP) said in a news release on Tuesday.

The suspects, including eight Cambodians, two Thais and one Vietnamese, were caught during a series of raids on five locations in capital Phnom Penh and Banteay Meanchey province's Poipet city from July 13 to 15 after a probe for a few months.
