MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): Less than half of the country’s schools, both public and private, can fully conduct in-person classes when the new academic year begins next week.
The Department of Education (DepEd) and the Office of the Vice President (OVP) gave this updated assessment of the schools’ readiness on Friday, three days before the start of the new academic year on Monday, Aug 22.
