BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) announced that products from Itsuki Foods Co Ltd found sold in several supermarkets were ordered to be placed in the non-halal section for sale.
This was a result of Syariah Affairs Department’s investigation on Kyushu ‘Tonkotsu’ Artificial Pork Flavor Ramen through the Halal Food Control Division after public complaints. The department found the manufacturer also produces a variety of instant noodles with pork-based flavours.
