BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Aug 30 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The Hoopoe and The Simorgh, an Iranian cultural story book was launched at the International School Brunei (ISB) yesterday, in conjunction with Iran’s government week.
The book was written by the Embassy of Iran in Brunei Darussalam and the Brunei Reading and Literacy Association (ReLA), with a story adapted from the Mantiq al-Tayr, a poetry book by Attar Neishabouri – one of the greatest mystics and personalities of Iran in the 7th and 8th Centuries.
