Vietnam's trade surplus hits nearly US$4bil in eight months

HANOI (Vietnam News/Asia News Network): The total export and import turnover of goods was estimated at US$64.34 billion this month, a month-on-month growth of 5.2 per cent and a year-on-year increase of 17.3 per cent, reported the General Statistics Office.

The total import and export turnover of goods is estimated at $497.64 billion in the first eight months of this year, up 15.5 per cent over the same period last year.
