State funeral for Japan's Abe reported to cost US$7mil

TOKYO (Bloomberg): The Japanese government will announce that a state funeral for former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will cost more than 1 billion yen (US$7.1 million), Kyodo News said.

The government will make the estimate public as early as Tuesday (Sept 6), Kyodo reported, citing several people linked to the government.
