Heavy rainfall leads to flash floods and overflowing canals in Bangkok as floating coffins sighted in the city

BANGKOK, Sept 10 (Laotian Times/Asian News Network-ANN): This week, Bangkok has received some of the heaviest rainfall in the last two decades and residents have been warned that the weather is unlikely to improve until Monday (Sept 12).

Residents of Saphan Mai were greeted by the surreal sight of a coffin floating through their neighbourhood as flash floods swept areas of Bangkok on Thursday.
