Face mask use now voluntary outdoors in the Philippines


MANILA, Sept 15 (Philippines Daily Inquirer/ANN): Wearing face masks in “open spaces and non-crowded outdoor areas with good ventilation” is now voluntary in the Philippines, Malacanang announced on Monday.

Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr signed an executive order which allows the voluntary wearing of face masks outdoors while reiterating the public’s continued adherence to minimum health standards.
