Consumer watchdog to address overbooking by cruise operators and airlines

SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/Asia News Network): Singapore's consumer watchdog will engage the Singapore Tourism Board and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore to address concerns about overbooking by cruise operators and airlines.

This comes after more than 100 customers could not board the Genting Dream cruise ship at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre on Sept 4 as the trip had been overbooked.
