Cambodia urges restraint after N. Korea’s ballistic missile test

PHNOM PENH (The Phnom Penh Post/Asia News Network): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Tuesday (Oct 4) urged North Korea to adhere to all relevant UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions and international obligations after the nuclear-armed country conducted a ballistic missile test-launch.

In a statement, the ministry said the act is another violation of the UNSC resolutions and poses threats to regional security and stability. It also called on all parties to exercise the utmost restraint to prevent the situation from escalating.
