Laos, Russia mull opening of direct flight link

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): Lao and Russian senior officials met on Oct 27 to consider the possibility of opening direct flights between Vientiane and Vladivostok – a city on Russia’s east coast - to benefit Russian tourists in particular.

Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Ounthuang Khaophanh discussed the proposal with the Director of Russia’s Science and Culture Centre to Laos, Alexander Radkov, according to the Lao News Agency.
