Brunei Sultan visits Turkish Aerospace Industries

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah visited Turkish Aerospace Industries on Wednesday (March 8) where he was greeted by Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkiye Mustafa Varank and president and chief executive officer of Turkish Aerospace Industries Professor Temel Kotil.

During the visit, the monarch, among other things, was briefed on the function and role of Turkish Aerospace Industries, representing among one of the major contributors to the world’s aerospace industries through the design and production of defence and commercial aircraft.

He also viewed an air show and a static aerospace exhibition showcasing Turkish Aerospace Industries products such as fighter jets, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) drones.

The Sultan then left for Istanbul to continue the state visit.
