With Chinese manufacturers flocking to overseas trade fairs in a frenzied bid to shore up export orders after three years of isolation, markets in developed economies remained their top priority, according to a recent survey.
The findings follow pledges by Beijing to stabilise China’s exports to its traditional trading partners, including the United States and European Union, to which Chinese shipments have been declining for months amid simmering geopolitical tensions and dwindling consumer demand.
