Brunei receives postal award

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Brunei Darussalam, ranking 21st of 22, received an Express Mail Service (EMS) Cooperative Customer Care Award 2022 recently.

Acting Postmaster General Dr Rosdi Abdul Aziz received the award on behalf of the sultanate.

The award was presented during the EMS Cooperative General Assembly at the Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Bureau in Berne, Switzerland by UPU Director General Masahiko Metoki and EMS Cooperative Chair Patrick Richon.

The annual award event recognises postal operators demonstrating excellence in delivering EMS services, particularly in providing high quality customer service.

EMS Cooperative is a body under UPU with members made up of postal operators worldwide working together to improve the quality and efficiency of the international EMS network.

Brunei’s Postal Services Department has been a member of UPU and EMS Cooperative since 1984.
