Thai delegation visits Tutong school

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network):The Princess Maha Chakri Award (PMCA) Foundation delegation from Thailand led, by its chairman Dr Krissanapong Kirtikara, visited Pengiran Kesuma Negara Bukit Beruang Primary School in Tutong District on Tuesday (May 23).

Department of Schools Director Marina Chek Bujang, school headmistress Hazibah Abdul Manan and a teacher who is also 5th PMCA recipient Mohamad Amir Irwan Moksin welcomed the delegation.

The visit began with a welcoming speech and briefing by the principal followed by a sharing session by Mohamad Amir Irwan.

It continued with a classroom observation and a showcase of Mohamad Amir Irwan’s career journey.

The visit was held for PMCA Foundation to observe the Mohamad Amir Irwan’s teaching practices as well as meet Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the Ministry of Education (MoE) Dr Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati Tajuddin.

Senior officers from the MoE were also present during the visit.
