BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah Salleh Ab Rahaman on Friday (May 26) attended the launch of the Children’s Cancer Foundation (Yaska Brunei) centre at Jalan Pengiran Babu Raja in the capital.

The newly inaugurated centre marks a significant milestone for Yaska, providing a more expansive space for conducting a range of activities, including talks and meetings. This development enables the organisation to enhance its efforts in supporting children affected by cancer.

The larger premises now accommodate engaging pursuits such as arts and crafts, baking and cooking sessions, and even a mini “Graduation Day” to celebrate the bravery and strength of young cancer survivors.

During the event, Pengiran Anak Isteri Anak Sarah graciously accepted a painting presented by one of the courageous young cancer survivors. Additionally, she took a tour of an exhibition, demonstrating her unwavering support for the cause.

The launch of the Children’s Cancer Foundation centre not only highlights the commitment of Yaska in aiding young patients but also underscores the significance of community efforts in creating a nurturing environment for their well-being.
