SEOUL, June 12 (Agencies): According to Cambodian news reports first published on June 10 local time, a woman's body was discovered in a pond in Phnom Penh. The body, which was found on June 6, was wrapped in a blanket at the time.

She reportedly was visiting Cambodia with an acquaintance for tourism purposes, as reported by the South Korean media .

Korean police have requested a thorough investigation from the local investigative authorities, and are investigating acquaintances as well as hospital officials along with the autopsy procedure.

The investigation is underway with the possibility of murder in mind while identifying fingerprints on the blanket she was wrapped in.

The local police arrested a Chinese couple who run a local hospital on charges of abandoning BJ Ahyeong's body.

According to the suspects, she died at the hospital on June 4 due to a seizure incurred while receiving treatment. However, the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
