Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim to visit Laos


VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim (pic) and his delegation will pay an official visit to Laos on June 26-27 in response to an invitation from his Lao counterpart Sonexay Siphandone.

The visit aims to further strengthen the longstanding friendly relations and good cooperation between the two South-East Asian countries, the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.
