Brunei housing scheme to complete 950 homes in Tanah Jambu in two years

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Nine hundred and fifty units of terrace houses for the National Housing Scheme (RPN) Kampong Tanah Jambu is scheduled to be completed in 24 months following the foundation laying ceremony on Tuesday (Aug 8).

The homes being constructed for Phase 7 of RPN Kampong Tanah Jambu is under the 11th National Development Plan. The project also includes providing basic infrastructure, such as electricity, water and sewerage.

The BND96 million project is handled by contractor Thong and Thong Sdn Bhd.

Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid was the guest of honour at Tuesday’s ceremony.

The minister, accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry of Development was briefed on the development on the site before participating in the ceremony.
