Two dead, two injured in Quezon City residential fire

MANILA (Philippine Daily Inquirer/Asia News Network): Two persons died and two were injured in a fire at a two-storey residential building in Quezon City on Wednesday (Oct 4) morning.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) located the blaze on Lilac Street, Barangay Fairview, Quezon City.

It has yet to disclose the identities and the cause of death of the two victims.

The two injured persons were William Uy, 47 and Michelle Uy, 48.

William sustained multiple abrasions and a puncture wound on the left thigh, while Michelle experienced difficulty breathing.

They were given medical first-aid.

The fire started at 2:10AM and the first alarm was raised after ten minutes. At 2:51am, the blaze was declared under control and put out at 3:01am.

Bagbag Fire Rescue was among the fire respondents, as confirmed by INQUIRER.net in a phone call.
