Roadside bomb blast kills two and injures two in southern Philippine


MANILA (Xinhua): A roadside bomb exploded in the southern Philippine Basilan province on Monday, killing two militiamen and injuring two others, police said.

Police Colonel Carlos Madronio, director of the Basilan Provincial Police Office, said the two members of a paramilitary group died at the scene.

Madronio said the team was conducting a military law enforcement operation in Sumisip town when they tripped on the explosive device. Enditem
