VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN): The opening of a luxury hotel in Vientiane, the Souphattra Heritage, will greatly add to the charm of the capital by accommodating high-end customers during Visit Laos Year 2024.
A ceremony to launch the soft opening of the Souphattra Heritage took place in the heart of Vientiane on March 12.
Those attending the event included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Saleumxay Kommasith; Minister of Industry and Commerce, Malaythong Kommasith; the Mayor of Vientiane, Dr Atsaphangthong Siphandone; Governor of the Bank of the Lao PDR, Dr Bounleua Sinxayvoraving: deputy ministers; ambassadors; members of the Diplomatic Corps; representatives of international organisations; and representatives of the public and private sectors.

During the hotel’s soft opening, people making reservations will be eligible for a discount of 14 percent until the end of June.
