Diesel and kerosene prices slashed, gasoline increased by 55¢ per litre


MANILA: Local oil companies will implement mixed adjustments in pump prices effective Tuesday (April 23).

The oil firms said the price of gasoline would increase by 55 centavos per litre while pump prices of diesel and kerosene would be slashed by 95 centavos per litre and P1.10 per litre, respectively.

Cleanfuel will apply the pump price adjustments on Tuesday at 12:01am while Shell Pilipinas and Seaoil will follow at 6am.

The announcement comes a week after oil companies implemented hefty increases per litre in pump prices: gasoline by 40 centavos, diesel by 95 centavos, and kerosene by 85 centavos. - Philippine Daily Inquirer/ANN
