Singapore PM arrives in Brunei for first official visit overseas

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong arrived in Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday (June 11), as part of his first overseas trip since he took office last month and part of a series of introductory visits to South-East Asian capitals.

Greeting the Prime Minister and his spouse Loo Tze Lui upon arrival at the Brunei International Airport were the Crown Prince Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah who is also Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and his consort Pengiran Anak Isteri Sarah Salleh.

According to Singapore’s Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister is accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, Sustainability and the Environment Minister and Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations Grace Fu, National Development Minister Desmond Lee and Minister of State for Communications and Information and for Health Rahayu Mahzam. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
