BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Progresif Sdn Bhd’s senior vice president of strategy Johan Johar recently shared insights on ‘Delivering Value through Data’ during Singapore EXPO CommunicAsia.

Johan highlighted the necessity of evolving data analysis techniques, aligning data efforts with business objectives, while maintaining an open-minded approach to uncover hidden opportunities at the event.

He also shared the importance of a structured analytical approach and the integration of predictive analytics within a broader strategy, advocating for a mindset of continuous learning and collaboration in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) implementations.

Johan also shared some of his own experiences, success stories and challenges – providing some examples of how data-driven strategies have shaped some of Progresif’s decision both commercially and operationally. He also provided some practical advice and comments on when to rethink an organisation’s approach to data.

The Tech Talk lasted 40-minute as part of the broader TechXLR8 Crossover series which featured a number of business leaders who spoke on how businesses can harness the power of data to achieve their ambitions and generate tangible value. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
