PHNOM PENH (Xinhua): Cambodia has arrested a gang of five foreigners in two nationalities for trafficking illicit drug, seizing 145kg of a narcotic worth millions of dollars, a senior police official said on Friday night.

The all-male suspects aged between 23 and 76 years old, Lieutenant General Chuon Narin, chief of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police said, adding that they were apprehended at four different locations in Phnom Penh on June 16 and 17.

"A total of 145 kg of ketamine was seized from the suspects' possession during the crackdowns," he said in a press conference.

The police also confiscated 2kg of precursor chemicals, three scales, and some equipment for drug packaging, he added.
