Teenager arrested for drink driving following accident on TPE highway in Singapore

SINGAPORE (The Straits Times/ANN): A 19-year-old male was arrested for drink driving following an accident involving a car and a van along TPE early in the morning of June 30.

When contacted, the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident, which occurred before the Elias Road exit, at 5.10am.

A 25-year-old male van driver, his 54-year-old male passenger, and the 19-year-old car driver were taken to Changi General Hospital in a conscious state.

In a video uploaded on the Facebook page of Singapore Roads AcVacident.com, a white car travelling at a high speed and a van are seen colliding. The white car then overturns as the van spins and hits a road barrier.
