BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony and mass Asar prayer at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque on Tuesday (July 2) to mark the 41st birthday anniversary of His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik.

Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Halbi Mohd Yussof and Chief Syar’ie Judge Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Salim Besar attended the event.

The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Doa led by Ash-Shaliheen Mosque Affairs officer Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran.

The ceremony aimed to express gratitude and to supplicate to Allah the Almighty for good health, longevity and well-being of His Royal Highness and members of the royal family. – Borneo Bulletin/ANN
