Vietnam President To Lam to visit Laos

VIENTIANE: The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, To Lam (pic), will lead a high-level delegation on a state visit to Laos from July 11 to 12 to cooperation between the two countries.

The scheduled two-day visit is in response to an invitation from the secretary-general of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and state President Thongloun Sisoulith, the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The Vietnamese President’s visit comes less than two months after he was elected as the head of the state of Vietnam on May 22 by the 15th National Assembly. - Vientiane Times/ANN
