BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: A full rehearsal for the Get-Together event with residents of the Brunei-Muara District was held on Wednesday (July 24) at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien in the capital.

The annual event is part of the festivities marking the 78th birthday celebration of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ’Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The rehearsal was attended by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof; Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman; and Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar.

The main event, the Royal Meet and Greet with the residents of Brunei-Muara District, is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 29 at the same venue. –Borneo Bulletin/ANN
